A novel method for modifying the wettability and germination properties of a diversity of seeds by cold radiofrequency air plasma treatment. The suggested method, air plasma treatment, leads to a dramatic decrease in the apparent contact angle, increase in water absorption, control speed of germination and yield (control of germination rate).
