The current test for SARS-CoV-2 virus requires several laborious steps as-well-as unique reagents that are at high demand these days.
This project of Prof. Dana Wolf, in collaboration with Nir Fridman and Naomi Habib, is geared to use high-throughput sequencing methods for testing patient samples to replace manual steps with high-throughput sequencing that will allow the reading of many thousands of samples per day with minimal manpower and in a single run of sequencing.
