Azilect/ Agilect (Rasagiline) An anti-Parkinson's disease drug

For generations mankind has awaited a drug that can counter the harsh affliction of Parkinson’s disease (PD). It took well over two decades of intense research, thought, and collaboration by Technion professors Moussa Youdim and John Finberg, and Teva Pharmaceuticals to develop a sophisticated drug that offers real hope for PD patients. Azilect® provides relief to the millions of patients suffering from the debilitating and incurable neurodegenerative disease (~ 4 million people worldwide suffer from Parkinson's disease, Affecting approximately 1% of the population over the age of 65) and hope for the thousands of new patients diagnosed each year.

Bio-Hep B ®

A recombinant hepatitis B vaccine that integrates the S, pre-S1, and pre-S2 surface proteins of the hepatitis B virus. Enables successful immunization with significantly lower doses of vaccine than other recombinant hepatitis B vaccines. Licensed to Bio-Technology General, Inc., a subsidiary of Ferring Inc. Bio-Hep-B is marketed in Israel and registrations in other countries are under way (Yeda).

Encryption Algorithm

This algorithm is licensed to NDS Ltd., and is widely used as the basis for television set-top box smart cards. To date, over 50 million smart cards are in use throughout the world (Yeda).
